Inauguration
A new chapter by the water

The Exhibition
What you can explore
Bulbule (Bubbles)
What is surface tension? How does it help in bubble formation? Explore how bubbles are formed and the shapes they take, then try it yourself at the station.
Moving Images
The Moving Images exhibit walks through the evolution of animation — from flipbooks to VR — showing how images have moved across generations and screens.
Water and everyday life
The water section highlights facts about body composition and the weight of water, helping visitors understand the social impacts of water in our daily lives.
- Water — how much of us is water, and how heavy water actually is.
- Bulbule — surface tension and the formation of bubbles.
- Moving Images — the evolution of animation.
KHOJ Riverfront: Water & Bubbles brings together the museum's ongoing interest in curiosity-driven learning with a playful exploration of water. Moving images, illuminated displays and drifting bubbles create an atmosphere that invites visitors of all ages to pause, look closely and ask questions of their own. The exhibition connects everyday experience with larger ideas, encouraging children to experiment, participate and touch exhibits rather than simply observe them behind glass.
Water shapes daily life in ways that are easy to overlook, and the exhibition makes those connections visible through simple, engaging activities and demonstrations. Visitors can learn how water is part of the body and the world around us, and how social issues intersect with natural resources in communities. Like the museum's other galleries and events, the Riverfront space is built around inquiry and play, turning observation into conversation and shared discovery for families, school groups and curious adults alike.
